Get help with Vanta
Find setup guides, troubleshoot Vanta, and contact the developer with useful details about your device, model or connection.
Vanta is the iPhone and iPad AI chat client developed by Ezel Bayraktar. Its App Store listing is named Hosted & On-Device LLMs: Vanta.
For setup help, bug reports or feature ideas, email ezel964@icloud.com. You can also open Settings → About → Contact developer inside Vanta.
Start with the right guide
- Getting started: choose a model and send your first message.
- LM Studio, Ollama or vLLM: connect to your server.
- On-device models: downloads, memory and offline use.
- Troubleshooting: connection errors and model failures.
- Privacy: understand what leaves the device.
Make a bug report easy to reproduce
Include your device model, iOS or iPadOS version, Vanta version and the steps that led to the problem. You can find Vanta’s version and build in Settings → About.
For server problems, include the server software and version, whether the connection is LAN, VPN or HTTPS, and the error message. For on-device problems, include the exact model, GGUF quantization or MLX variant, and context size. Say whether the same problem happens in a new chat.
A screenshot or a small redacted log excerpt can help. Settings → About → View logs opens the app logs. Review anything you share and remove private conversation text, API keys, tokens and sensitive addresses.
Suggestions are welcome
Describe the task you want to accomplish and where the current workflow gets in the way. A concrete example is more useful than a long feature list.
Purchases and billing
Apple handles the app purchase and refund process. A connected cloud provider handles its own API charges. Pricing explains the distinction.
